Obituary of Dora Tortola

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our deeply loved Dolorata Tortola on June 22nd, 2024, after a long and tumultuous battle with cancer.

Beloved wife of 47 years to Gaetano Tortola, most caring and loving mother to Angelo, the late Michael, and Carolina (husband Giovanni). Dearest Nonna to Antonioluca. Cherished sister to Peter (Marie) and the late Assunta (husband Vincenzo). Dear daughter of the late Angelo and Maddalena Tortola. Devoted Zia to Maria (the late Chaz), Lisa, Matteo, Nicholas and Kyle.

She will be most remembered for her unwavering spirit, positivity and huge heart. She will be dearly missed by so many family members and friends in Canada, Italy and USA.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 4pm-8pm. Parish prayers will be held at 4:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mt. Royal Dr., South Windsor), on Friday, June 28, 2024  at 11am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
