Obituary of George Thomas Charbonneau

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on June 24, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Marie (McKale) (2015). Loving father to the late Thomas (2021), the late Donna Brazeau (2019) (Serge), Susan Mailey (Ron), Cindy Rice (Bill) and Ed (Jessica). Cherished grandfather to Jacklynn, Candice and Brittney, Amanda and Tony, Megan, Sherri, Billy, Joshua and Mitchell, and Emily, Sarah, Matthew and Danny and many great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Doris Charbonneau. Son of the late Hector and Violet Charbonneau. George is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and his in-laws that he was very close with. He was a retiree from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. George will be missed dearly and always remembered for the love he had for his children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of WRH-Met Campus, especially Rachel Holmes and Tammy Griffiths-Milligan for their compassionate care and loving support. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, from 12:00 noon until the time of the Chapel Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Ste. Annne’s Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
