Obituary of Violet Rose Robert

Passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024 at Riverside Place, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife to Van with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage. Loving mother to Sherry (Keith) Ashley, Marie (Carl) Riberdy, Nancy (Claude) LaFleur, Victor (Marsha) Robert, Mark (Michelle) Robert, Timothy (Deb) Robert and Tracy (Tom) Miller. Cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Gladys Richards and predeceased by 11 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Violet was a dedicated healthcare aid for many years. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Riverside Place - Belle Isle View for their compassionate care provided to Violet.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd.E.) 519-253-7234 on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 7-9pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 21 from 9:30am until the Time of Service in the Chapel at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
