Obituary of Lina Maria Polidori

September 7, 1933 - June 15, 2024

With broken hearts, the family of Lina Polidori announce her passing on Saturday, June 15, 2024 in her 91st year. Loving and cherished wife of Cataldo “Aldo” Polidori for 53 years. Dear sister of Franco (Rosalia) Alterisio and Rafaela (late Filipo) Mattarelli both of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Lina was born in Guardia San Framonti Benevento, Italy to parents Umbertina and Ettore Alterisio. Losing her mother at a young age, she was fortunate to have a wonderful stepmother, Maria.

Family and friends will be received at WINDSOR CHAPEL Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.) (519) 253-7234 on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm, with parish prayers at 7:30pm. A mass of Christian burial will take place at Immaculate Heart Parish (2153 Parkwood Ave) on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Donations in Lina’s memory can be made to Immaculate Heart Parish.
