Obituary of Aldo Turchi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Aldo Turchi on June 11, 2024, at the age of 68. Reunited with his parents Francesco and Rita Turchi. Loving father to Francesco (Sabrina) Turchi and former husband to Lilliana Ferguson. Dear brother of Margherita Turchi of Italy, Raffaelina (late Fiorigi) Fiorino, Ottavio (Inge) Turchi of France, Raffaele (Elisabetta) Turchi, Beatrice (Tony) Fiorino, Isabella (Tony) Santilli. Adored zio to many nieces and nephews in Canada, United States, Italy and France. 

Aldo cherished his time on Erie Street, where he formed numerous friendships playing Italian cards and enjoying espressos at the many coffee shops along Via Italia. He had a deep passion for soccer, particularly when cheering for his favorite teams, Juventus and Italy. Aldo also loved going on countryside cruises, relishing the scenic views of Seacliff and Colchester Beach. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Silvana for her countless hours of assistance, selflessness, and kindness during Aldo's most challenging moments.

Visitation will take place Friday, June 14, 2024 from 3-5pm. & 7-9 pm. at Windsor Chapel South 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) with parish prayers at 8pm.

Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10 am. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to St. Angela Merici Church.
