Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 9, 2024 at the age of 93. Devoted husband to Virginia Ducharme, celebrating 68 years of marriage. Dearly missed by children Clyde Ducharme (Maddy Barton Hill), Carolyn Ducharme (Bob Booker), Annette (Jim) Deslippe, Janet Ducharme (Mike Hello) and Glenn Ducharme. He was a dedicated and very loved grandpa to 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Thank you to sister in law Katherine Irabelli for all her support and the weekly outings she took Ken on.

Ken was a hard worker, always dedicating his time to projects. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off of his own back. He exceled in his job, working at Chryslers for 30 plus years.

Ken and Virginia spent their spare time traveling, it was their favourite thing to do together. If Ken was not found working or with Virginia he was with the grandchildren, watching their sports games, most specifically watching hockey, broomball, baseball and bowling.

Ken will be known for his dedication towards the meetings and supporting the Local Unifor 444. He was present with Unifor until his final days.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Parish Prayers in the chapel at 4:30pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Ste. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) from 10am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11am. In accordance to Ken’s wishes cremation will then take place, and a private interment at Ste. Anne’s Cemetery at a later date.
