Obituary of Ajit Singh Chana
Ajit Singh Chana, passed away June 8th, 2024 at the age of 82, born in the small village of Mandahli, Punjab, India. Ajit was a strong-willed and determined man who moved to Canada in the 1970s. Ajit was a multi-skilled individual. He contributed to his beloved Sikh community, as well as owning and operating a manufacturing facility for the auto market for more than 45-years. He was always giving back. He spent decades helping to feed the homeless, helping new immigrants, and sharing his time with those in need. He was loved by all fortunate to know him.
He is survived by his sons, Narinder (Harpreet Kaur) Singh, and Maninder Singh, daughter Sukhvir Kaur, and his grandchildren, Jodh, Yadleen, and Priya, as well as his brother Sewa Singh Chana, sister Kirpaul Kaur Marwaha, and Daughter in law Satvinder Kaur. He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife Surinder Kaur, son Jagir Singh, and granddaughter Anjaleen Kaur. He will be sadly missed by his many friends, extended family, and loved ones.
Visitation and prayers will take place on Tuesday June 11th, 2024 from 10:30am until 12:30pm at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel)11677 Tecumseh Rd E Windsor ON (519)253-7235.
