Almighty God, you are our refuge and strength in times of trouble, and we come to you today with heavy hearts. We seek comfort in our grief, for the loss of our beloved child, who left us too soon. We thank you for the moments we shared with them, the joy they brought into our lives, and the memories that will live on forever.
We know you are greater than any pain we feel, and you can help us heal. Give us the courage to face each day with grace and compassion. Show us how to find strength in our sorrow, and to be an example for others. Bless us with understanding and peace during this difficult time, and fill our hearts with hope for the future.
Help us to find joy in our memories of our child, and to carry them in our hearts forever. We offer you this prayer in Jesus' name, Amen.
