Obituary of Sara Heilaneh

Sara Heilaneh (nee Hanna)

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 3, 2024 at the age of 91. Reunited with her loving husband Daniel Heilaneh. Dear mother of Marie Rose Hakim (late Kamil), Louis (Patricia) Heilaneh, Marlin (Vancho) Cirovski, Layla (Michael) Di Meo and late John Heilaneh Cherished Tete to Tiffany (Jesse) Leyva, Michael Hakim, Erik Cirovski, Ashley Heilaneh, Christopher (Bianca) Hakim, Carly Heilaneh, Cara Cirovski, Michael Di Meo, and Savanah Di Meo. Great Tete to Mya, Amari and Luciano. Sister to Sharif and Younan Hanna. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Sarah was a professional seamstress and business owner specializing in women’s fashion, owning Lajeunesse Fashions in Old Riverside.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm. Parish Prayers at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 9am until the time of procession for a funeral service at St. Ignatius Orthodox Church (1808 Labelle St) at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
