Obituary of Craig Hussey

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 61 on May 30, 2024. Beloved husband of 38 years to Laurie (nee Farrah). Cherished Father of Matthew (Elise), Andrew, and Jessica. Proud Bapa of Katie, George, and Julia. Loving son of Ted Hussey (Brenda) and the late Marion, and son-in-law of the late Michael and late Linda Farrah. Dear brother of Susan Vermast (Mike), Dave Hussey (Barb), and brother-in-law of Joanne Horton (Dave), Margie Farrah, Marie Virag (Steve)(late Bob Smith) Tony Farrah (Anne), Julie Lendorf (late Emil), late Joseph Farrah (Vicky), Anne Girard (late Ron), Chris Farrah, and Michelle Ingolfo (Serafino). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and his cat buddy Daisy.

Craig was a dedicated employee with Reko International for 22 years, where he organized many golf tournaments and BBQing for the company picnics.

He was the life of the party, never taking life too seriously. He will be remembered for his funny stories, making people laugh, his joking nature and often referencing pop culture, movies and TV shows at some inappropriate times. Craig enjoyed music, especially the Beatles. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping with family. Above all, Craig was a devoted grandfather to his 3 grandchildren.

At Craig’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 11:00 am until time of Eulogies at 1:00 pm in the Chapel.
