Obituary of Eleanora Giofu

Eleanora Giofu Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 1, 2024 at the age of 96. Reunited with her loving husband Constantine “Conne” (2014) and parents Dan and Mary (nee Dumba) Precop. Dear mother of David (Cindy) and Dennis (Nancy). Cherished grandmother of Daniel, Thomas, Timothy (Rebecca), Steven, Dylan and Keith (Emma). Sister of Evelyn (late Victor) Sekedat, late Peter (Margaret) Precop, and the late Anne (Pete) Tonita. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Eleanora loved to bowl, play cards and was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Raptors. She was an administrative assistant at Pepsi Co. in Troy, Mi for 20 years. Eleanora loved to travel and go camping. She was a member of St. George’s Church and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She was recently a member of the Descent of the Holy Ghost Church. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.) 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue at Descent of the Holy Ghost Church (2895 Seminole St.) on Wednesday, June 5 from 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Service at 10am. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Descent of the Holy Ghost Church.
