Obituary of Branko Papic

With sadness and a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Branko Papic on May 17, 2024. He passed with his wife and family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Smilja. Cherished father of Brankica (Rob) and Ana (Jay). Loving and adoring grandfather of Aleksandar, Christopher, Michael, Amelia and Maya. Son of the late Petar and Ana Papic of Croatia. Dear brother of Mirko and Dushanka, the late Bogdan (survived by Danica) and the late Nada and Draga Bobek. Brother-in-law Draga (Zoran), Dushanka (Rade). He will be missed by many nephews, nieces, and cousins from all over Windsor, Michigan, California and Europe.

Branko was a retiree of Diageo and was heavily involved with his church. He enjoyed gardening, flowers and seeing his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations are welcomed at Saint Petka Serbian Orthodox Church, or a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E.,) 519-253-7235 on Wednesday May 22, 2024 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers to be held at 8pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday May 23, 2024 at the funeral home from 9am until time of procession to St. Petka Serbian Orthodox Church (1501 Lakeshore Rd., 203, Tecumseh) for 11am Funeral Service. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
