It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara, on May 14, 2024, with her loving family at her side.Beloved wife and soulmate to her late husband Mato (2007). Loving and devoted mother to Boris Mihalic and wife Anita (nee Spadafora) of Windsor.Cherished "Baba" to Danielle Mihalic, Eric Mihalic and wife Chelsea, Evan Mihalic, and great-grandmother to Carter, Beau, Kacen and Banks. Barbara is predeceased by parents, Pero and Kata Benkovic, and sister Anna Biscan and surviving husband Joe of Windsor. She is survived by and will be forever missed by extended family in Windsor and Croatia. Dear Godmother to Christina Medico and many loving family and friends in Buffalo, New York. (519) 253-7235 on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Our Lady of Atonement Parish (2940 Forest Glade Dr., Windsor) for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
