Obituary of Luke Ernest Belisle

Passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on May 4, 2024, at the age of 88 years. Will be greatly missed by his loving wife Annette Belisle (nee Lanoue) (Anderson) for over 27 years. Cherished step-father to Ronald Anderson (Debbie). Grandchildren Kristina Klos (Sam), Sean Anderson, Emily Anderson and great-grandchildren Lia, Sammy and Mateo. Sister-in-law Pauline Noel (late Maurice), Denise Abray (Robin), Michelle Lanoue (late Ken). Predeceased by first wife Denise (nee Belisle). Will be missed by his children Gilles Belisle (Freda), Nicole Packwood (John) and grandchildren Joseph, Denise and Marshall. Luke was a US Army Veteran, Legion branch member and celebrated 50 years as a Knights of Columbus 4375. He was a 41 year member of the RT. Rev. W. J Langlois Assembly 1789. Predeceased by his brother Marcel Belisle (late Doreen), Lionel Belisle (survived Annabelle) and late Yvette Parent. The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at Shoreview and Brouillette Manor for their excellent care and compassion over the 3 years while Luke was suffering from Alzheimer’s. A special thanks to my sister Denise who helped with Luke’s care all these years. Luke was retired from the Ford Motor Company – Dearborn Michigan.  He enjoyed spending 25 years in Florida with family and friends, where he golfed, danced and loved his happy hours. The Celebration of life will take place at St Anne’s Parish, 12233 Tecumseh Rd. E., (519-735-2182) on Saturday, May 18^th for the memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
