Obituary of Louis Ducharme

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father Louis Peter Paul Ducharme on May 3, 2024 with family by his side. Survived by adored and cherished wife Anne Marie Ducharme. Louis and Anne Marie recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.

Devoted father, Pepe and Great Pepe to Peter (Christine), Alexandra (Stuart) and Peter (Cori). Jeff (Katherine), Michael (Kate) Ducharme, Sarah (Ryan) Taiariol, Nathan, Lillian and Madison, Julianne (Mark) Dunn and Zachariah, Charles (Tamara) Ducharme, Henrik and Madalayna, Alex Wani, Isabella, Isaiah, Judita, and Sarafina.

Louis is together with in heaven his parents Peter and Leonore Ducharme, siblings Beulah, Delores, Dona, Elita and Pauline. Survived by siblings Marjorie Peladeau, Leo Ducharme, Anne Collins and Peter Ducharme.

He will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

Born in Bayfield Ontario, on October 28, 1931. Louis was a hard-working man. As owner and partner of DandR Vacuum, after 37 years, Louis retired and began his traveling adventures, Louis and his wife Anne Marie visited 78 countries.

Louis’ main focus was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was always ecstatic to see them come to the family home/cottage in Bayfield, spending countless days with them and their friends.

If Louis wasn’t found with Anne Marie or with the grandkids, he was most likely golfing. Louis was a devout Catholic.

In accordance to Louis’ wishes, cremation has taken place.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

Visitation will continue on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd) from 10am until tributes to Pepe at 1045. Funeral Mass at 11.
