Julie was always a professional, kind, and welcoming person to work with at the University. We chatted about a few projects, and each time, I always looked forward to conversations with her on various questions or getting when I needed information. Julie will be really missed!

Julie was kind enough to refer claims and incidents for my handling as an independent claims adjuster for about 30 years while at the Windsor Casino and U of W. Julie was a pleasant, wonderful and positive person but most of all her professionalism was second none. She was truly a wonderful person and I was blessed to have known her.

To everyone that knew and loved Julie-(John, Jeff, family and friends)-
To know Julie, was a gift. One of my greatest blessings I have ever been blessed with. Julie’s nickname was Sunshine, it came to me before I had even learned about her infamous, “Sunshine girls”. That was what she was. A ray of light that gave you hope, love, and warmth! Every moment and task you undertook with her was like a great adventure. She made every moment fun and happy. Life without her will be so painful. She was so strong, positive and courageous. The only way we all can honour Julie is by living our life to its fullest.. She would expect that we appreciate each other and every day we have. Be grateful and thankful that she showed us all how to “Live” and “Love” by example.
My “Sunshine”- “Your on vacation and I will see you anytime soon”.
Love u

Julie was / is one of the most compassionate loving people I have ever been graced to know. The time anyone spent with her will be missed and thought of. I located all of the pictures of her, and I have only great memories. Knowing Julie is to understand and watch what gratefulness and grace truly is. I only wish she could know how much she was adored. Scottie.

John, family and friends of Julie, I can honestly say that I have never met anyone quite like her. I was constantly in awe of her and the positivity and love she exuded to all. To say I admired the strength she exhibited during her long illness is an understatement . She was and is my hero and I often refer to her perseverance when I’m struggling myself. She was one of a kind and she will be missed dearly.❤️

Deepest condolences to John, family members and other friends of Julie. I feel blessed for having had her as a cherished friend for many years and will hold on tight to the good memories of the times we shared. Julie was the light in a dark room, and such an extraordinary person in so many ways. And for those that knew her well, you know you could never “out-gift” Julie…she was always way ahead of your efforts. She was a ball of energy, and most certainly fought this long illness with unwavering positivity and grace. May she rest in well-deserved peace. Shelley Daigneault
