Many years have passed. Much joy and sadness have we shared with the Mion extended family. Though on opposite sides of the international border, we have been especially privileged to know Julianne, Alfred, Vonda and Eric in a special way. It was our pleasure to be introduced to Renata, really, because of son Robbie (now 16), who we met just before his 7th birthday. In getting to know Renata, Jonathon and Robbie in time, Renata became an inspiration to our entire staff. As we saw Robbie grow up, we felt so proud of them both. Not only was Renata a good daughter, wife and mother, she courageously used the talents God blessed her with to help everyone she was able to share her knowledge with. Patient, unwavering, inquisitive, determined - no matter what the goal or problem to be dissected and met head-on, Renata was your girl. She was a bulwark of strength to her family and no doubt to all who knew her. We are saddened to see her leave us so soon. We would like to express, along with those who know Renata - whether family or those whom she touched as she just lived life, . . . she is, and always will be loved. Dr. Perkins, Ellen and Staff

Our deepest condolences to John, Jonathan, Robbie and family. Our hearts go out to you, and we are praying for you. Renata expressed such a wonderful enthusiasm and confidence in her Saviour. She is with her Lord Jesus in the peace of heaven. We are privileged to have known her. She was loved by many at our church. Her life and testimony for Jesus Christ continues in our hearts.

My friend - words cannot express how brokenhearted I am that you have left us. You were such a beautiful and gifted person, intelligent, positive, dedicated and loving.
