Loretta, I'm both saddened and embarrassed for not having been there to offer my condolences to you personally. You were both on my mind and It was accidental that I came across Jamie's obituary. No excuses, I suck. I think I may have had a man crush on Jamie. His inner fortitude, wit and sense of humour generated impact power on many people as you well know, myself included. Big Hug to you and your families and hope to visit you soon.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jamie and Loretta for many years. When Jamie worked for me as a fund raiser and helping with Communications, he was so great - he was promoted to my Board of Directors and to the OACAS board. He was a delight to work with in many capacities at the CAS, bringing positive supports to the children and families we worked with. This was a full circle moment as, Loretta was did the legal work for the CAS, when my father, Jack Bevan, was Boss at the CAS.
We all will miss you Jamie, but you will not be forgotten!

Dear Loretta and family….ny deep condolences. As you may know my husband Mike Thomson, also passed just a few weeks ago. Jamie and Mike were both on staff together at Lowe for many years together and we enjoyed Jamie’s company at activities and staff outings. I also turned to Hospice to continue working after retiring from the board in the early nineties. I renewed acquaintance with Jamie there, and many hours working on committees and projects with Jamie. Such a pillar of our community. A truly gifted and outstanding gentleman, it was a pleasure to work with Jamie and he leaves a legacy that will keep the memory of Jamie Henderson alive forevermore. Fondest regards, Sherry (Cheryl) Thomson

So sorry to hear about Jamie's passing. Although I hadn't seen him for over half a century, what I remember about him most when we used to hang out in 50s and 60s London was the sparkle in his eyes. He loved life and will be sorely missed.
