LULIC, Anica (nee: Nekic)
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a loving mother and baka, on April 16, 2024 at the age of 89 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Marko (2015). Loving mother to Mirjana Botica (Ante), Diana Lulic (Al Gibson), Melanie Lulic, Marko Lulic (Lyne). Cherished baka to Gabriella, Filip and Mate Botica, Brooke and Andrew Gibson, Julia and Marko Lulic. Predeceased by parents Pavo and Julka Nekic, brothers Luka, Mate, Ljubo, Mile and Budimir, and sisters Marija, Mandica and Ivka; all of Croatia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Croatia. Anica was a faithful and devout member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church. She was a loving and caring mother to her children, and a cherished and proud baka to her grandchildren. Anica enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking and her gardening. She was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan and loved watching all her grandchildren's sporting events. Anica will be forever remembered for her selflessness and unconditional love in everything she did in her life. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 9:15 a.m. in procession from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Anica, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund.
