Obituary of Brian Chauvin
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Michael Chauvin on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the age of 48 after a courageous battle with cancer. Brian was a loving husband of 23 years to Kara (nee Tremblay) and a devoted father to Christian and Juliann. He was the beloved son of Michael and Helen Chauvin and son-in-law of Doug and Holly Freker. He was a dear brother to Cindy Chauvin and brother-in-law to Lindsey Thompson, Krista and Keith Emery, Katie Tremblay and Pat Kramer, Mike and Ashly Tremblay. He was a caring uncle to Jacob, Mia, and Jackson.
Brian’s goal was to never miss a football game or a dance recital, a school event or a family gathering. His family meant everything to him. Whether he was cheering on his L’Essor Aigles at Christian’s football games or shuttling Juliann back and forth from the dance studio, he was so proud of his children. Brian loved to vacation with his family: travelling from coast to coast for family reunions, lounging by the pool in Florida during March Break, or exploring new cities. He enjoyed barbequing, working around the yard, and tinkering in the garage. He was a problem solver and a researcher. If you needed something fixed or a replacement product, you asked Brian because he knew the answer or would search it out for you. He enjoyed spending time at his family’s farm and would have loved to have devoted more time to working in the field. He took pleasure in a 25 year career as a robotics technician with the majority of his work life at Flex N Gate where enjoyed the time he spent with his weld tech family and friends he made throughout the plant. Brian was a wealth of facts and information and always ready with a “Dad joke” to make the kids groan. He was always kind with his words, generous with his time, and cared fiercely about those around him. He was a great friend to many and will be dearly missed.
