KILLEN-Terrence (Terry)
Passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024 at the age of 87 years. Born on September 20, 1936 in Peterborough, Ontario. Son of Patrick and Yvette (Delorme) Killen. Beloved husband of Mary Lou (Horsburgh) for 57 years. Cherished father of Scott (Jen) Killen, David (Lora) Killen, and Sean (Lora) Killen of Weston, Florida. Dearest grandpa of Ethan, Eric, Kelly, Cooper, Jackson, and Alexander. Brother of the late Eldon (Sue) Killen (2024) of Kitchener and Sharon Beauvais of Peterborough. Brother in law of Katherine and Jim Peterson of West Chester, Ohio, Greg and Beth Horsburgh of Nanoose Bay, B.C. and Beth Toldo of Tecumseh. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Terry retired in 1994 after 30 years as a teacher, coach and school principal with the Windsor Catholic School Board. He was proud to have been a coach for Riverside Minor baseball for 40 years. Terry was inducted into the Windsor Fast Pitch Softball Hall of Fame in 2020. Along with baseball, he enjoyed golfing and was a 30-year member of Kingsville Golf and Country Club where he often played three days a week and where he met lifelong friends. Terry was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus Riverside Council. At Terry's request cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting will be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. (519)253-7235 on Tuesday April 16, 2024 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral services on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at 11:00am in the chapel. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to Windsor Hospice or Erie Shores Hospice.
