Obituary of Helen Victoria Fioret

Helen passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was pre-deceased by her parents Umberto and Emma and brothers William (Helen) and Adrian (Enes). She was a special sister-in-law to Helen and an amazing Auntie to Susan (Jerry), Dean (Cathy), Patrick (Rose), and Heidi. She had the pleasure of being a loving Great Auntie to Ashley (Sean), Megan (Ryan), Tylor (Kayla), Cameron, Emma (Alex), and the late Christopher (1996) and Lauren (2003). She had the joy of being a Great-Great Auntie to Adelyn, Cooper, Carter, Logan, Haileigh, Ethan and Jacob. Helen was also predeceased by her long-time companion Donald Moore and will be dearly missed by Lorrie (August), Brian and Paul. She was a treasured Nanna to Jordan and Morgan. Helen retired from Hiram Walker and Sons where she worked in the Labour Relations Department. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and listening to classical music by Frank Sinatra, her beloved "Blue Eyes". She had a kind heart, an infectious laugh and always had a song to sing or story to share. She certainly earned her wings during her wonderful life with us. A special thank you to Chartwell Oak Park Terrace and Tecumseh Extendicare, especially the staff on the Livingstone Unit. Thank you to the staff in the ER and 6 North at Metropolitan Hospital for giving our aunt compassionate care during such a difficult time. As per Auntie's wishes cremation has taken place and a small family service will occur. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s memory to The John McGivney Children’s Centre or a charity of your choice.
