Obituary of Isagani Cruz

With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved “Isagani Cruz” at the age of 73. Surrounded by his loving family, he has joined our Creator on March 16, 2024, in MET Regional Hospital in Windsor Ont. at around 6:20 in the morning.

He was born on May 7, 1950 in Malabon, Philippines, to parents Francisco and Oliva dela Cruz. He had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He was married to Corazon Cruz on October 9, 1977. They have two daughters named Mary Jane married to Angelo and Maricar married to Alvin. He has 3 grandchildren named Kiper, Jadrien and Kaven.

Isagani “Ani” or “Gani” has lived his life to the fullest. He was able to work in different kinds of skilled jobs in the Philippines and abroad. He has spent his younger days working hard to provide a good life for his family. He is mostly interested in worldwide current events and very knowledgeable in world history. He is a great singer too. He has devoted most of his time listening and meditating on God’s words in his elderly years. He is dearly loved by most of the people who knew him for he has touched their lives in his own special way. His fight is over with his illness, and he has fought it so well. We are all mourning and at the same time rejoicing for he is now in eternal comfort and peace with our Lord God Almighty. He may be gone now but will never be forgotten. His legacy would always remain to all people who had the privilege knowing him and for now we bid “farewell”.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-2537234) on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2 - 5pm. Followed by a Memorial Service at 7 - 9pm.
