Obituary of Yvon Paquet

Passed away on March 20, 2024 with family by his side at the age of 84. He leaves behind his daughters, Cindy (Mark), Connie (Serge), Valerie (Steve) and Monik (John). Greatly missed grandchildren; Jeremy, Joshua, Haylee, Lauren, Jacob, Emily, Vinny, Leo Winnie and 2 great grandchildren Ada and Harper. Missed by siblings Alonzo (Anita), Hedard (Lucienne), Annette, Idola, Claudia, Edmonde (Aubin), and twin sister Yvonne.

Yvon reunites with his parents Joseph and Lauza Paquet, siblings Leopold, Venance and Raymonde.

He will be missed for his devotion to his work at Ford Motor Company for over 35 years. Yvon was an avid car enthusiast, if he was not at work or beside a car he was spending time tending to his lawn and garden. He dreamed of being back home in Shippagan, New Brunswick, where his final resting place will be - close to his family.

Throughout Yvon’s long battle he did not complain about the obstacles he had to face. His strength, courage and quick wit will never be forgotten. We are proud of his determination and tenacity. Your valiant fight with cancer is over now, you earned your peace.
