Obituary of Bryan Benson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Bryan on Monday, March 18th, 2024, at the age of 70 years. Survived by loving wife Suzanne Labelle. Cherished father to Steven (Jody) and Michael (Claudia) Benson. Beloved stepfather to Maryann, Arthur, Robbie, Rachel, and Crystal. Adoring Papa to Revlyn, Selena, Natalie, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dedicated brother to David Benson, Lisa (Matthew) Taylor, and Carole (Paul) Hunter. Predeceased by his dear parents William and Marian Benson. Loving fur dad to Avery. Bryan will be deeply missed by his friends, extended family, and everyone he touched throughout his life.

Bryan was the Owner/Operator of the CAA Service Franchise for the Windsor and surrounding region for many years, after initially commencing with the organization as a service representative. Of all the positions he held during his lifetime, the CAA opportunity was his greatest passion and he would have continued with this work. Bryan thoroughly enjoyed playing many board games with his family and was an avid Bingo player. This is when he was the happiest. A dedicated sports enthusiast, he fervently supported all Detroit teams. His passion for sports mirrored his dedication to excellence in his professional career. Over the years, Bryan went on numerous vacations, many with the extended family including Las Vegas and the Caribbean; these memories will be forever held close to our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bryan’s memory to Windsor Essex Cardiac Wellness Centre - Hotel Dieu Grace Health Care.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel 11677 Tecumseh Road E. (519-253-7235) on Friday, March 22nd, 2024, from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Visitation will continue Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 from 1 pm until the time of service at 2pm. Cremation will follow. To express condolences and memories, please refer to the online guest book
