Obituary of Domenico Frank Stramacchia

Passed away peacefully on his 80th birthday, March 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of 55 years to Concetta “Connie” (nee Eusani). Beloved son of the late Matteo and Filomena Stramacchia. Loving and devoted father of Matteo, Christina (Dwayne Brignall), Domenic Stramacchia (Rachel). Proud Papa to Michael, Ava, Luca, Nico, Domenic, Novah and Samuel. Dear brother of Michael, the late Bruno (Heather), Ugo, and Gino. Dear brother-in-law of Lina DeRose (late Sam), Domenica Spadafora (late Mario), and Pina Beato (Vito). Domenic leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom he loved dearly.

Domenic retired as a Supervisor from Ford Motor Company after 33 years of Service. A man of few words, his actions spoke volumes. He enjoyed hunting and winemaking with his family especially Vito. He was passionate about his garden, and music. Above all, spending time with his family at the cottage brought him the most joy.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of the CCU and ICU of WRH - Ouellette Campus for all their dedicated care and compassion, especially niece Anita Mihalic.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Ave. (519-253-7236) on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will be held at 4:30 pm. Family and friends are invited to meet at Parish of the Atonement (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) on Friday, March 22, 2024, for visitation from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
