Obituary of Audrie Mavis Seney
Audrie was born on Sept 12, 1939, in Merlin. On March 9th at 4 a.m. Audrie Mavis Seney’s heart took its last beat at Windsor Regional Hospital. Audrie was battling lung cancer for two years and post-heart conditions after having triple bypass surgery in 2020. She loved life and fought hard to live until her last breath. For the last 23 years, Audrie has been soul mates with Robert (Bob) Tozer. Their mutual love and support helped them both fight cancer and enjoy every minute of life. Audrie was the mother of eleven children and was selflessly committed to them all. She loved and was deeply loved by her family and all who knew her. Audrie married John Spencer Seney on July 23, 1960, with eight children and had three children by birth. Audrie will be greatly missed by Joyce, Gary (Debbie), Sandy (Bethie), Trudy (Dave), Sharon, Rosalie (Chris), John (Evelyn), William (Pam), Shelley (Daniel), Mark (Krista) and 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Audrie had 2 Brothers and 5 Sisters, survived by Lewie and Deidrah and predeceased by her father, Louis Ritzer, her mother, Blanche and her siblings Bob, Deborah, Adrienne, Patricia and Gail. Audrie was predeceased by her husband, John, who passed away in March 1999, and her son, Ronald, in October 2021. She worked very hard in the family businesses and at Thamesview Lodge in Chatham before retiring in 2003. She was an avid supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. For relaxation, she loved to play bingo locally and in Vegas. It is with deep sorrow that we say goodbye, but we will see you again in eternal life with great rejoicing. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue, Windsor, Ontario (519-253-7236) on Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M.
