Obituary of Silvana Da Sacco

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 6, 2024, at the age of 69. Beloved wife of over 50 years to Claudio. Cherished mother of Gianluigi (Sharron), Pietro (Francesca), and Tiziana (Melki). Proud Nonna of Sofia, Giovanni, Mauro, and Matteo. First born daughter of late Luigi (Maria). Dear sister of Francesca (Francesco) and Anna (Ermanno) and sister-in-law of late Maria (Antonio), late Pietro (Candida), Irene (Michele), Ferruccio (Giuliana), late Iolanda, Luigi (Marina) and late Silvana. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Windsor, Italy, Toronto, Sudbury, and California.

Silvana was born February 23, 1955 in Cosenza, Italy. In the early 1970s, Silvana moved to Windsor, Ontario, Canada from Aprigliano, Italy. She was a very kind, loving, and thoughtful person. Her passion for family, music, sharing an espresso at the table, and her ability to stay in touch with so many of our family and friends weekly will always be appreciated and sets an example upon us. She had an incredibly strong memory, recalling every single family members' and friends' birthdays, special occasions, and anniversaries. She will be dearly missed, and her spirit will stay alive through so many wonderful and beautiful lasting memories.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235)on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 10:00 am until time of Chapel Service at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
