It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, grandma and great grandma. Loving wife of Veljko (predeceased). Loving Mother of Martha (Danny), Nick (Celeste) Michael (Barbara) and Anita. Dear Grandma of Justin, Lauren, Lindsey, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Johnathan, Tara, McKenzy, Jenna. Dear Great-Grandma of Mason, Addie, Colton, Arben, Emmie and Kade.

At 94yrs young, with family by her side, Hildegard left this earth to be with her sweetheart Veljko. Her life was filled with love for her 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Grandma had the biggest heart, the kindest smile and the most loving eyes. The matriarch of the family, she took care of each and every one of us. Always putting her family first. We had homemade soup on cold days, ginger ale and “The Price is Right” if we were sick. She had a magnifying glass to check her scratch tickets, she loved her little walks and her rides along the water. Our weekends were filled with the best homemade baked goods and stories from Austria. She fancied a fun night out “donating” to the Windsor Casino. Of course, just like our Jedo, she’d never turn down a French fry. We don’t want to say goodbye, because this one means forever. Grandma, you have the absolute best of our hearts, how lucky are we to have spent a life knowing the kindest soul, give Jedo our love. Until we can laugh and love again, we’ll see you in the stars

Special thanks goes out to the unbelievable and caring staff at the Dr. Y. Emara Centre,Hospice Care. You provided such love and care for Hildegard up to her last day, the family is forever grateful.
