Obituary of Carmelo Frontera

FRONTERA, Carmelo of Leamington, Ontario in his 75th year. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 with his loving wife Diane and youngest son Daniel by his side. Carmelo is survived by five children, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and countless family and friends. He will be remembered by many as a father including some who were not his children, brother including some who were not his siblings, zio including some who are not his nieces & nephews and a friend to all who knew him. His life touched many and he will truly be missed. Carmelo was a longtime member of K of C St. Michael's Council, Leamington - 3rd Degree, and the K of C Dean Wagner Assembly - 4th Degree. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd E ( 519-253-7234) on Saturday November 1, 2008 from 7 to 9 PM and Sunday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Knights of Columbus - St. Michael's Council #4501 (Leamington) 3rd Degree prayers Sunday at 3 p.m. followed by Knights of Columbus - Dean Wagner Assembly prayers and Parish prayers Sunday evening at 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Monday, November 3, 2008 at St. Michael's Church, Leamington ( 29 Elliott St. ) from 10:00 AM until time of funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hospice of Windsor, where the loving care and support provided by the staff and volunteers was a blessing to him and his family.
