Maria Mancina (Nee Greco)

February 11, 1933 – February 17, 2024

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved Maria Mancina (nee Greco).  She died at the age of 91 years on February 17, 2024.  Maria is survived by her husband Pietro, daughter Patricia (Mustafa) and grandson Ibrahim.  Dear sister to Tony (Fil) Greco, Sarah (Tony) Amato, Anna (Sam) Guarascio.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Assunta Greco, her brother John (Mary) Greco and sister Antoinette (Pete) Mascaro.  She is joined in heaven by her infant daughter Rosa.  Maria was known for her quick wit, beautiful smile and kindness.  She will be greatly missed.  Her family would like to thank the staff at Huron Lodge, Sycamore wing for their excellent care.  Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Parish Prayers Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Ave for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.  Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County would be appreciated by the family.  Memories and Condolences can be shared online at www.windsorchapel.com
