Obituary of Dennis Allan Wipp

Passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024, at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Elaine for over 45 years. Loving father to Kim Sylvester (Cory) and Allan (Jessie). Cherished grandpa of Makaela, Kaylee, Brooklyn and Isaac. Son of the late Robert and Edna Wipp. Brother to Amy MacMillan (late Cameron), late Robert (Susie) and late Don (Charlene). Brother-in-law to Anita Houghton (Charles). Uncle Dennis will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He will also be fondly remembered by his many friends and colleagues.

Dennis had a long career as CEO within the Credit Union system. He was very involved in the community, sitting on many boards over the years, including most recently the Cancer Foundation and Maryvale. Dennis was a super Lions fan and was very excited to finally see them win a Championship. He also enjoyed travelling and cruising with friends and was an avid golfer. But overall, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his adored grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd., Windsor (519-253-7235) on February 13, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
