Obituary of Amelia Pavan

With a heavy heart I share the passing of my beloved Mom, Amelia Pavan (nee Presello). She was born in Fagagna, Udine, Italy on December 6, 1931 and passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2024 at the age of 92. Predeceased by devoted husband Luigi (2011). Dear mother of Paola. Dear sister of the late Olga, Elena and Aldo. Survived by siblings Altieri, Lino and Marco. We will always remember her passion for knitting, her love of music and her unwavering love of people. Mom was a Member of her beloved Fogolar Furlan Club and the Fogolar Furlan Women's Association. Her fondest memories include introducing and nurturing the Furlan culture through music with the Gotis di Rosade Children's Choir. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at WRH Met Campus, especially Dr. Alex Presello, who was so kind and caring of his Zia. A visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday, February 9 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 5:00 pm.
