Obituary of Fiorinda Bonato

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Mom, Nonna, and Bisnonna, Fiorinda Bonato (nee Fogal). She was born in Loria, Treviso Italy and passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2024 at the age of 91 with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by devoted husband Erino (2019) with whom she shared 66 wonderful years. Dear mother of Sylvia (John) Costella, John (Mae), Sandra and Mary (Jim) Lazzarin. Words cannot capture how special she was to her grandchildren Matthew (Melissa), Paul (Amanda), Stephen (Michelle), Lauren (Travis), Alex (Melissa), Andrew (Rebecca), Alyssa (Shawn), Nolan, Bryan, Celena (Chris), and Samantha. She kept them laughing until the very end. Cherished Bisnonna to Joshua, Daniel, Natalie, Allison, Cecilia, Wesley, Myles, Braxton, Zander, Evelyn and Ereno. She shared a special bond with her brother and sister-in-law, Silvio and Pierina Fogal, who will miss her dearly. She will also be missed by her best friends and Bestia partners Francesca, Lucia, Annina and Carlo, along with many nieces and nephews whose lives she touched. We will always remember her talent as a seamstress, her many bocce awards, and most importantly, her dedication to her faith. A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E., 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Parish prayers at 4:30 pm. Funeral Services on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 8:45am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
