My condolences to all those friends and family who understood what a wonderful person Rudy was. I barely remember a time in my 47 years that Rudy didn't exist. I remember him bringing his boat to my dad's, to give it a facelift. I remember getting our family dog from him - a beautiful Shar-pei named Jenna. I remember answering the phone countless times when he called my dad to chat. I remember eventually becoming a colleague, when I joined him and my dad in Real Estate. I remember so many more things than those listed here. RIP Rudy. I will remember. - Jessica Sandstedt-Steptoe

DEAR Johnny, Joe and Carla we were very sad to hear the news of Rudy such a hard time he had and we know he will be greatly missed! It’s hard losing a brother and a friend may you know the comfort of family and friends at this very sad time! We have a lovely memory of Rudy out near the road over a year ago when we walked the Ovarian cancer walk with friends and we stopped to talk to him he was happy to see his cousin as were we! Dear John, We were shocked and saddened to hear the news of your brother's passing. Rudy was the kindest, friendliest, happiest man with a big heart, and, despite his health struggles, always had a huge smile on his face. We absolutely won the best neighbour lottery.
