Obituary of Brenda Fader

It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Jean Fader (née Griffiths) announce her passing on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the age of 65.

Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Kevin; her children, Tammy Fazekas (Eric Peters), Lisa Marentette (Marco), Cindy Campbell, Chad Fader and Brad Dagenais. Grandchildren, Alina, Rylan, Alyssa, Owen and Ainslie. Daughter to the late John and Violet Griffiths and loving sister to Linda Bryan (Gary), and Joanne Westfall. Brenda was predeceased by her siblings, Carol Dickens, John ‘Butch’ Griffiths and Patricia Taylor. Daughter-in-law to Judith Dunn and the late Harold Fader and numerous brother and sister in laws. She will be remembered in the hearts of many other family members and friends.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Brenda. She especially loved her role as Nana and being surrounded by family and friends and ok, the occasional nap. She often explored nature both in Windsor and Newfoundland with her husband and found such beauty in her surroundings. She had a remarkable talent for displaying kindness and having an open door that warmly welcomed everyone to a cup of tea. Brenda made friends everywhere she went whether it was at her ice cream parlour Bedford Scoop or running the breakfast club. Her personality and laugh was contagious to everyone she met and all whose lives she touched, and her nick name ‘Buddha’ reflected her amazing soul.

The family would like to invite everyone to a celebration of Brenda’s life that will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00pm., at the Moose Lodge, 777 Tecumseh Rd W, where dinner will be provided.
