Obituary of John Joseph Stein

STEIN- John J. The King of Used Cars It is with sadness that we express the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather who died peacefully at the age of 88 years with his loving wife Rosalie (Young) who he shared 64 years of marriage by his side, on October 23, 2008 at Metropolitan Hospital. Loving father of John A. Stein, James Stein and partner Colleen MacLean. Loving grandfather to Sandra, John E., and Bob. Dearest step-grandfather of to Byrd and Dylan, Brad and Andrea. Beloved father-in-law of Mary Ellen and Valarie. Dear brother of Mary Gieswein (2002). John was the proud proprieter of John J. Stein Used Cars in downtown Windsor for 46 years. As per John's wishes a private showing took place October 24, 2008 at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Road East, followed by cremation and interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery October 27, 2008. The Stein family would like to thank Dr. Rathe and staff, Anne Marie from CCAC, and the doctors and nurses of 4West Metropolitan Hospital for the wonderful care, attention and support and all the wonderful people who came into his life.
