Obituary of Amanda Girard

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Amanda Girard, on January 18, 2024, at her home at the age of 43 years. Loving mother of the late Killian (2024) and Willa McPherson. Beloved daughter of Sue St. Pierre (late Marc) and the late Robert Girard. Dear sister of Megan (Robert), Jacqueline (Mark), Collette (Steve) and Paige. Survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also survived by her cherished friends Cara and Carina.

Amanda was a long time Detroit Tigers fan. Her career spanned many years at 7 Eleven, CIBC and most recently with Hub International. She loved spending time with her family, nights with friends singing karaoke but most of all being with her two children.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Chapel Service at 12:00 noon. Cremation to follow. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Canada or to the education fund for Willa McPherson.
