Obituary of Jack Gordon Fuller

FULLER, Jack Gordon Passed away on October 19, 2008 at Windsor Western Hospital in his 86th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Geraldine (Dougall)(1999). Dear father of John and wife Carmel, Bob and wife Mary both of Windsor, Barbara Staeger and husband Chris of London. Dear grandfather of Kaela and Matthew Fuller; Darcy Fuller, Katie and Greg Staeger. Predeceased by his parents Gordon Fuller and Dorothy Fuller (Phillips). Brother-in-law of MaryLouise Pemmitt of Dearborn, Michigan. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Jack was a Veteran of WWII, serving as a navigator in the Air Force. After the war, Jack earned a Business degree from the University of Western Ontario. Jack was President of Fuller Construction for over 30 Years. He was an active Rotarian and served on the Board of Directors, for Met Hospital. He enjoyed Sports, Playing Softball with the Dominion Twist Drill Team in the 1950"s, Curling and later Golf at Beach Grove until his retirement. Jack and Gerry retired to Kingsville spending their winters in Florida. Recently Jack was a Resident of Sunrise Assisted Living where he enjoyed his Family, Friends and especially the View. He will be sadly missed. Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Those wishing to make donations in memory of Jack are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
