Obituary of Lisa Wohlers

Passed away peacefully on January 14, with her beloved husband David of 41 years, by her side. Loving sister of Jim Slavik, sister-in-law of Dean Wohlers and Bruce Wohlers (Connie). Dear daughter-in-law of John Wohlers ( late Elizabeth) and (late Margaret Conrad). Lisa will be greatly missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She will be reunited with her parents George and Rose (Giess) Slavik. Lisa was loved by many. She enjoyed being surrounded by the love and company of her family and friends, whether it was hosting them for dinner or just a cup of coffee. Lisa was known for her sharp wit and her marvellous sense of humour. She had a big personality and an even bigger heart….always kind and generous with many words of encouragement. Lisa was very talented, enjoying her many crafts and projects, which kept her very busy. A special thank you to her donor (2018) who gave Lisa precious time to live life to the fullest.

Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd East (519-253-7234). There will be a private family viewing. At a later date, a memorial service will be held for all wishing to attend. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
