We are devastated to hear of Bill's passing and I know we are not alone. I first met Bill at the Grace Hospital Golf League and then we played volleyball together on Wednesday nights for many years. Win or lose, there was always beer and wings afterwards. We consider ourselves lucky to be among Bill's many friends and offer our deepest condolences to Sandy and Corey.
Love, Kathy and Simon

I will miss Bill's smiling face and the times that I was fortunate enough to see him in person. His kind words, sense of humour, encouragement and guidance were things that I highly valued about our friendship and the friendship he had with my Dad, Bob. I was so sad to learn he was feeling unwell and that he is gone, but I will never forget the important role he played in my life as well as my Dad's. He was a rare and wonderful human being and I will always remember him with a smile and tremendous fondness. I hope that Sandy, Corey and your family take some peace in knowing how wonderful we all knew Bill was as well. Sending you all much love and peace. xo

My sincere condolences to Sandy , Corey and families. When I heard of Bill's passing an old American Indian proverb came to mind. " When you were born you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die , the world cries and you rejoice .
That was Bill no question.
Take care.

More than a decade ago Bill and I met at the Cancer Centre, had the privilege of spending time with him every Wednesday morning at centre and tending to the vegetable/Healing gardens weekly. Likely too early to count blessings, but I can with sincerity say I am a better man having the opportunity to volunteer with Bill and having him as a friend. Thanks Bill for making a difference in my life, grateful for every moment we had together.

Sandy and family, I was so saddened to learn of Bill's passing after his lengthy and brave battle. I always enjoyed our times golfing together with the RAMM League. Bill always had a smile and a positive attitude, never complaining about his challenges (or the rare missed golf shot). We shared our cancer journey over the years and I always admired his dedication to volunteering and helping other patients at the Cancer Centre.
Rest in Peace, Bill. I'll cherish the fond memories.

We shared so many good times with you Sandy & Bill. Especially our Solstice Progressive Dinners. We still remember the dinner we were serving appetizers & as a joke we made “Turtle Eye Aspic” Jello with plastic eyeballs. Everyone was horrified; but, Bill jumped right in & scooped some in his plate. Thankfully we let him know before he swallowed an eye!!!
Oh the laughter!!!! Always lots of laughter
Bill & you Sandy gave us the gift of so many wonderful memories!!! Memories we will cherish always!
RIP good Friend!
RIP Bill

Dear Sandy, Corey, and family, sending you all condolences. I've had the pleasure of working with Bill for over a decade at Home Furniture, as both a student and later in life as a full time staff member. No matter how young you were, he always treated you with utmost respect and had so much wisdom, stories, guidance, and advice to offer. Every day he came in, there was some new inspirational quote or goal to be shared. His optimism was infectious, and he had a million dollar smile with sparkling eyes to accompany it. Family, community, and volunteering were so dear to him. I could never figure out how he could do such long work drives/ flights and still be able to fit everything else in, and not just "fit it in" but do so with a full heart and attention. Bill was a wonderful man, and will be missed.

I knew him as “Uncle Bill” but he was my godfather. We weren’t able to get together often but we kept in touch. He had a way of making you feel so special. When I was young, he sent a card every birthday and Christmas. It truly meant the world to me to receive that card! In more recent years we communicated by email. It was always wonderful to catch-up with him every year. He will be truly missed.

So sorry to hear of the sad news about Bill's passing. It was a great pleasure working with Bill over the years and a greater pleasure to be considered a friend. He was a big part of our family and shared many celebrations at our house when he worked in St. Jacob's. He was a wonderful storyteller and was always interested in our lives and our children's lives. He was a kind, gentle soul with a twinkle in his eye and great smile. Bill always spoke fondly of his family and grandchildren. We will miss him deeply. God Bless, Doug and Janine Psutka and family

Dear Sandy and Corey and the extended Ladouceur family,
Growing up on Gail Road, Bill was like a second father to me. Losing him and my dad only 4 months apart really hurts. Bill will be dearly missed by so many family, friends and colleagues. His infectious smile and gentle voice could always pick you up if you were feeling down. The world is a little less bright today. On a warm and sunny day I'll make myself a G and T and toast my favourite bartender. I miss you Bill.
Love,
Mar

Julie and I were sad to hear of Bill's passing. Bill was a compassionate humanitarian with a fine sense of humour. A memorable smile...a great laugh...a warm heart...a soft voice...and a ton of youthful energy were his calling cards. We appreciated his counsel and support whenever we needed it. We applaud the recent recognition Bill received for making a significant positive contribution to the Cancer Centre's Patient Care Program. We have a deep admiration for Bill's tenacity and courage. Our condolences to Sandy and his family...to a great guy and a man's man who left a most worthy legacy. May he rest in peace.

Very sad to see another one of the Good Guys go, and a bit young I might add, too!
I got to know Bill only a few short years ago with the RAMM Golf Group, but when we introduced one another it seemed like we had known each other from before, or maybe he's just that type of a fellow! It's the sign of a genuine great guy.
Condolences of Peace to the whole family. Rest in Eternal Peace Bill; your memories will be in our hearts & minds forever.
