Obituary of Bruce Mitchell Shortt

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bruce Mitchell Shortt on December 26, 2023 at 79 years of age. Cherished husband to Theresa and loving father of son Paul and wife Lisa. Bruce is survived by his brother Jack (Judy) and sister Donna. Jack unfortunately joined Bruce in heaven January 3, 2024. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Maddie Shortt and his brothers Gord (Bernice) and Bob (Doreen). Bruce loved life as much as he loved his wife Terry of over 55 years. He was an avid bowler and loved his Toronto Maple Leafs, but always said he didn't know why. He was also a life long "car guy". He always had a convertible in the garage ready for a drive. Bruce was an electrician with Chrysler Canada and retired with over 35yrs. of service. As per Bruce's wishes, cremation and a private service have taken place.
