Obituary of Eleanor Marie Johnson

Heaven gained another angel on January 6th, 2024. Our dear Eleanor, wife to Bill for 69 yrs, mother of Charles (Elaine), John (Pat), Roger (Diane), Danny (Kelly), Glenn (Elizabeth), Mark (Marg) and Bill (Stephanie), her 7 adored sons. Dear grandmother to 18 and great grandmother to 15. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Eva Coleman and brother Marvin. She leaves behind her loving younger sister Carolyn Boyce (David) and her sister in law Joan Reguera. Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Missed by her lifelong friends and daughter in law Lydia (Dave). She is a retiree of Windsor Public Library but her life’s passion was being the proud mother of her boys, making apple pies and enjoying family time. The wonderful staff at Dr Y. Emara Centre, Prince Rd and T2B are to be commended for their support through this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, Central (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.) on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish Prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 10 at Immaculate Heart Parish (2153 Parkwood Ave.) from 9:30am until Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Cremation to follow.
