DRAZENOVIC, Franjo "Frank"
It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Beloved husband, Father and Didi, on January 2, 2024 at Hospice of Windsor, at the age of 84. Beloved husband to Jelena "Helen" (nee Zivcic) with whom he celebrated 57 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted father to Antonia Drazenovic (late Ryan), Maria Boudreau, and Franjo Drazenovic Jr. Cherished grandfather "Didi" to Blake and Lukas Boudreau, and Alex Drazenovic. Predeceased by parents Grga and Tonka Drazenovic, Dear brother to late Josip Drazenovic and wife Milica, late Marija Ozdanovac, late Kata Klaric and husband Ante, and late Ivan Drazenovic and surviving wife Zora.(LaSalle). Dear son in-law to late Ivan and Tina Zivcic. Adored brother in-law to late Stanko Zivcic and wife Janjica (Croatia), late Mile Zivcic (Croatia), late Marija Baric and husband Joso (Croatia), Draga and husband Vinko Matic (Windsor), Manda Paulic and Ivan (Australia), and Pave Zivcic and wife Klara (Croatia). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Franjo retired from Chrysler Canada after 32 years of dedicated service. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church and Unifor Local 444. In retirement, Franjo enjoyed riding his bicycle, doing woodcraft and conversations with friends over a cup of coffee at McDonalds. Most importantly, Franjo valued the importance of his family who were his pride and joy in his life. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church (1701 Turner Rd., Windsor) for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Franjo, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund or Hospice of Windsor-Essex County.
