Obituary of Jo-Ann Helen Brown

84 years young.  Passed away December 27, 2023 with family by her side.  Predeceased by her parents John and Eva Brown.  Loving mother to Robie-Jo Aiken and Dave Ouellette (2003), Nina and Dan Lavin, Brenda and Mike Bensette, Derek and Jennifer Aiken.  Adored Nanny to David Ouellette (2005), Courtney and Braeden Beaulieu, Mitchell Bensette and Ashley Aiken.  Dear sister to George Brown (2004), Pat Taylor, Bert Coleman (2008), Nancy Whitehead, Sally Styles, Georgina Bell (2019).  Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Jo-Ann’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.  She retired from Canada Post, was a member of Life after Fifty and an Avid and life long gardener and enjoyed 5 pin bowling. 

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 12:30 p.m.  Following the services a reception will be held at the Ciociaro Club.
