Obituary of Robert Leavoy

Robert (Bob), Leavoy, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the age of 72, surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Bob retired from Ford Motor Company in 2006 where he worked for more than 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and activities such as boating, golfing, watching movies, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved playing hockey and volunteered for many years with Belle River Minor Hockey and Thursday Senior Mens Hockey. Watching the sun and moon rise and set overlooking the lake, tapping maple trees to make syrup, skiing with his grandchildren, and treating them to poutine were among his favourites. They shared many special moments with their Pépé. Bob will be greatly missed by his loving and supportive wife Diane of 52 years, 4 children and grandchildren.

As per Bob's request there will be no service or visitation. The family would like to thank the entire care team at Windsor Regional Metropolitan Hospital. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
