Obituary of Eleanor Sfalcin (nee Muzzin)

Passed away peacefully on December 22, 2023 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Bruno for over 53 years. Loving mother of Dario (Stephanie) and Dante. Cherished Nonna to Amélie, Elysia and Stephane. Daughter of Elvira “Dora” Muzzin and the late Giovanni. Dear sister to Roger (Sina) and sister-in-law to Gianni (late Shirley), Aldo and Danny (Luana). Survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Eleanor loved her work as a Master Gardener and was an active member of the Windsor Orchid Society, Greater Windsor Horticultural Society, and Essex County Field Naturalist Club.

She will be remembered for her strength, and love she had for her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In honour of Eleanor’s wishes, cremation to follow.
