Obituary of Virgiliu Traian Gabor

With broken hearts the family of Virgiliu Gabor announce his peaceful passing away on December 17, 2023 at the age of 55, surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband to Josefina of 28 years. Dear father of Traian and Valeria. Loving grandfather of Alan. Son of the late Traian and Anica. Deeply missed by wife, children, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends. Emigrated to Canada at the age of 22 from Romania. He loved road trips, traveling and spending time with his wife and children. He was a great swimmer and tennis player. He was a loving father and husband and will always be missed.

Visitation will take place at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 85 Park Street East, on Saturday December 23, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Latin Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, 5005 Howard Avenue. In Kindness, memorial tributes in memory of Virgiliu may be made to Pro-Vida.
