Obituary of Carol Rymar

With saddened hearts the family of Carol Rymar announce her passing on December 13, 2023 at the age of 74. Dear sister of Patricia Novakovic (Dusan) and Linda MacDonald. Cherished aunt of Mark Novakovic (Michelle), Jennifer Rischke (Martyn Poole), Todd MacDonald (Jasmeen) and great aunt of David, Jamie, Amanda, Walter, Evelyn, Joshua and Anjali. Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Carol was a psychiatric nurse at Hotel Dieu Hospital for 32 years, she was dedicated to helping people and touched the lives of many friends and co-workers. Carol cherished her nieces and nephews, she was known to crochet baby blankets, clothing and Christmas stockings for them. She loved to tell them jokes and make puns for a good laugh. Carol was always there to lend an ear or just spend time together, unless Coronation St. was on, then she would have to call you back. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor) from 5-7 pm with a memorial service immediately following at 7pm. Donations in Carol's memory can be made to CNIB Foundation.
