Obituary of Valentino Bordignon

BORDIGNON, Valentino " Rino " Originally from Poggiana Italy . Peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 86 years on October 8, 2008. Loving husband of Agnese ( nee Martinello) sharing 55 years of love and companionship. Predeceased by parents Luigia and Bortolo. Devoted father to Ivo & wife Judy, Giulio & wife Judy, Loris and Gino & wife Jennifer. Cherished nonno to Isaac, Rachel, Ross, Audra, Domonique, Adam, Olivia and Jack. Predeceased by brothers Umberto and Gino , sister Milva and step sisters Stella and Norma. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada. Rino retired from Chrysler Canada after 32 years of dedicated service and was a member of CAW Local #444. He served with Italian Army during WWII and was a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club for over 30 years and Trevisani Del Mondo. Rino was an avid gardener, hunter and proud father and nonno and he will be forever remembered for his love of soccer and racing. A special thanks to the 4th floor staff at Met. Campus for the care shown to our Rino. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd East (519-253-7234) on Friday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Prayers Friday at 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 11, 2008 at 8:45 AM from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 9:30 AM. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
